Usability Philosophy

To achieve usability, we all need to live according to values that achieve it, and be accountable to those values. We have to go about it in a way that pragmatically accomplishes usability. It's not enough to give inspiring speeches about simplicity-we have to actually interact with users, practice user testing, and organize our design teams and decision-making processes to get the right results.

These are some viewpoints on how usability ought to be practiced:

>> Usability Is About Value
>> Universal Access: People Matter
>> Beyond Armchair Critique: Process, Not Just Principles
